Lady Gaga Concert!

My friend Tricia and I went to the Lady Gaga concert at the Pepsi Center in Denver on July 28th. We had an awesome time and Gaga was such a freak, I love her! Here are some pictures from our adventures.
My favorite new foundation.

I usually don’t blog about beauty products, but I just love my new foundation! It is a powder foundation from mark. It is called Powder Buff Natural Skin Foundation and I use it in the ivory shade with the Kabuki brush.
I use the brush for a light coverage and I use the sponge it came with for a more full coverage. I highly recommend it to anyone. I have combination skin so I do use moisturizer first and I have rosacea so it really helps to cover my redness.

Summer plans

So yesterday we took the kids to see the new Karate Kid movie, I thought it was pretty good. Colin was pretty good during the movie, can’t say the same for Hunter (my husband’s son) though because he had to talk during most of the movie. The Friday before last I took them both to the Aquarium in Denver and they were both pretty good that day. Next weekend we are all driving up to Mount Rushmore, so that should be cool since I have never been either.
When I took Colin to the dermatologist I also saw her about the redness in my face that i’ve had since a teenager. So I guess I have Rosacea, and she prescribed two topicals for me to use, one for morning, and one for night. I guess I’ll see how it works but I wo t be going back to her again, she didn’t even examine my face and was kind of rude. I’m just going back for Colin to make sure his skin virus clears up.
After the kids go back to the other’s homes this summer, Michael and I are going to Vegas again! We got the room and flights pretty cheap but we didn’t even pay for any of it, we just used our American Express points. So we are staying at the Aria, which is one of the newest hotels that they just built. I can’t wait! Michael wants to go because he’s not sure when his next break will be before he graduates from engineering school and I have one more year left of nursing school! I just like to daydream about winning a lot of money in Vegas…haha.
Cruel, cruel summer.

So my found out today after taking my kiddo the dermatologist today that he has a skin virus (that he had before he came here for the summer of course). I feel so sad for him….he won’t get to go swimming or use the slip-and-slide I bought unless it clears up pronto….but I doubt it because the doctor didn’t treat all of his sores (because he had so many) and he has a follow-up appointment on the 30th.
It just sucks…..he’s going to remember as the worst summer ever…..so what can I do? Spoil him with present? Would that even make up for it? I’m just very disappointed and angry…..blah.
